Adidas and FC Bayern Munich jointly launched a special jersey today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the Olympiastadion München in Munich. The Munich Olympic Stadium was the main stadium for the 1972 Summer Olympics and was the home of FC Bayern Munich from 1972 to 2005.

The design of the jersey is inspired by the world-famous canopy design of the Olympic Stadium, and draws bright colors from the surrounding environment of the stadium. The Adidas logo on the front of the jersey, the club badge and sponsor advertisements are arranged from top to bottom in the play.

The number 1972 is displayed behind the jersey collar to commemorate the year the Olympic Stadium was built. White shorts and socks complete the image of the German football king.
